Due to the fact that there have been two fires in the space of six months on this informal settlement. Safety measures and precautions were put in place to ensure that the residents and children are safe while they make fires, with the assistance of the Disaster Risk Management Team.

This was one of the concerns that officers had, the fires are made to close to their homes and that it should be made at a further distance from the Wendy houses.
